Health Information Translations is a online site that compiles plain language health education resources for healthcare professionals and others who work with patients with limited English proficiencies. HIT was created by The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center, Mount Carmel Health System, OhioHealth, Nationwide Children's Hospital.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary federal agency for improving access to health care services for people who are uninsured, isolated or medically vulnerable. HRSA hosts a searchable database of federal grants and cooperative agreements for grantees to apply to.
