The Philippine Nurses Association of New York Inc. (PNA NY) advocates for the rights and interests of Filipino-American nurses residing in places like New York City. We look at legislation that affects nursing practices while inspecting immigration issues that impact these hardworking nurses. We offer educational programs, as well as community outreach in the Filipino-American community, to make the jobs and lives of these people easier.

PICAWA – Pasifika Narratives

Pasifika Narratives “Our Voice is our Liberation” is a video series produced by the Pacific Islander Community Association of Washington highlighting the stories of resilience and cultural brilliance of our Pacific Islander communities in the U.S. diaspora, specifically Washington State. The stories in this series highlight Pasifika stories and issues in a quarterly 30-minute video media released from our PICA-WA social media platforms and covers local policy and social issues unique to the Pacific Northwest and covering global issues that impact the Pasifika Diaspora in Washington State and in the United States. Pasifika Narratives also serve as a medium for cultural work highlights, promoting Pasifika Creatives in having an avenue to share their body of work.
