The San Mateo County Health hosts health equity initiatives to focus on health disparities in access and quality of care for underserved communities in the county. The initiatives develop culturally and linguistically appropriate health education resources.

SPIRAL (Selected Patient Information Resources in Asian Languages) was an access portal to in-language patient health information organized by Tufts University. No new resources are being added to the site but archived resources are housed at this URL.

Taulama for Tongans's mission to provide the Tongan population living in the San Francisco Bay Area information and resources for available healthcare. We’re here to provide awareness for most illnesses that are common within our community, as well as education on preventing such illnesses. Our main goal is to increase awareness among the Tongans, of the health programs, resources, materials, and services that are available for them.
