The Community Health and Research (CHR) team at the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus leads a variety of community-engaged programs and research to include Diabetes and Cardiometabolic Disease management and prevention, family wellness, community programs, health food systems and food equity, and COVID-19 outreach. The Center for Pacific Islander Health at UAMS Northwest Regional Campus focuses on Pacific Islander communities in the United States, the US territories of American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands, and the US-affiliated Compact of Free Association nations of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.
