SPIRAL, Asian Health Websites

SPIRAL: Selected Patient Information in Asian Languages is a collection of links to Asian in-language (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Hmong, Thai, Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian) health education and patient care resources created by community partners and organizations. SPIRAL began as an initiative between the South Cove Community Health Center and Tufts Hisch Health Sciences Library and is now maintained by the latter institution.

The CARE Registry

The Collaborative Approach for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians & Pacific Islanders Research and Education (CARE) Registry is a large repository of people who are willing to be contacted about participation in research studies. The studies include a diverse variety of topics, such as Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, aging, caregiver-related research, and other health topics across the lifespan for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders, who are underrepresented in research. The CARE Registry is hosted by CARE. Researchers interested in enrolling AANHPIs from the CARE Registry may take the steps outlined at: https://careregistry.ucsf.edu/researchers
